World Cup fever sweeps over film crews
Though the story concerning football doesn't get due space in films' script, the craze for the World Cup is on the rise among other actors and actresses. It is the same case with actress Rejina who calls herself a great fan of football. "My goodness, I'm not busy in any film projects right now; it would be quite troublesome otherwise," stated Rejina with a joyful face.
Another actress and model Jharana Bajracharya has also reaped a great pleasure watching the World Cup that takes place every four years. "As I have to give time for shooting at day, I sit before television set for the football event at night," said Jharana.
At Biratnagar function of Pyramid College of which she is brand ambassador, Rekha said, "I'm a professional artist so I won't carry any party's flag." While making it clear that she is not a Maoist cadre, Rekha added she has every rights like other citizens to like or dislike plans and programmes of a political party. Rekha consented attending a Maoist mass meeting as UCPN (M) leaders, unlike other political leaders, called on her for the function with respect the first time.
While emphasizing the need of film crew's representation in the nation's mainstream politics, Rekha expressed her regret over non-participation of the artists in the Constituent Assembly (CA) by any party, however.
"Karma sir, I'm in the capital now and let's resume the dubbing process," Sanchita told Director of the film 'Bandi' Ramesh Gurung 'Karma' over phone. On the contrary to her expectation, Karma said 'no' to Sanchita as he had already completed the film's dubbing with another professional artist working at Prime Studio.
Director Karma was forced to finish the film's dubbing after Sanchita headed for the southern neighbour after her second marriage with actor Nikhil Upreti.
During her short stay in the capital, director Aalok Nemwang has, however, Sanchita finish the dubbing for his film 'Kohi Mero'.
